Carrie Underwood is the big country winner at Grammys

Carrie Underwood won Best Country Solo Performance and Best Country Song for "Blown Away," with the other country awards divided amongst several winners at the 2013 Grammy Awards Sunday night. Other winners included the Zac Brown Band, Little Big Town, and Bonnie Raitt:

  • The Zac Brown Band won Best Country Album for their release "Uncaged."
  • Little Big Town won Best Country Duo/Group Performance for "Pontoon."
  • Bonnie Raitt won Best Americana Album for "Slipstream."

Underwood also put in one of the most memorable performances of the night, singing "Blown Away" and "Two Black Cadillacs" in a silver gown that began lighting up and showing animations timed with the music and the background graphics.

And just for the record, no pun to Miranda Lambert, you could tell she was really singing. No lip-synching with that one, probably because she doesn't need to.

What a radical notion.
