Carrie Underwood $31 million necklace sets red carpet records at Grammys (Video)

Carrie Underwood set a record at the 2013 Grammy awards show on Feb. 10. According to a Feb. 10 Yahoo! Music report, Underwood rocked a $31 million necklace.

The bling was by Johnathon Arndt and contained 381 carats of diamonds. This makes it the most expensive jewelry ever worn to the Grammys.

Underwood was both a presenter and nominee. Carrie paired the necklace with black and grey strapless gown by Robert Cavalli, which accented the diamonds wonderfully. Underwood wore her long, blonde hair down in loose curls.

Carrie told Ryan Seacrest, “It’s worth more than me!” of the necklace. Underwood also admitted to Seacrest that wearing the necklace is a big responsibility and that she is worried someone will tackle her to steal it.

Carrie’s diamonds far exceed other records for most expensive red carpet jewels. Sofia Vergara wore $5 million diamonds to the 2012 Golden Globes, while Jennifer Lopez rocked $3 million ones in 2011, both by Harry Winston.

What do you think of Carrie Underwood’s $31 million necklace? Was it too much?
