Carrie Sunde crowned Miss Cambridge 2013

Carrie Sunde was crowned Feb. 10 as Miss Cambridge.

Carrie Sunde is the first young woman to be crowned Miss Cambridge under a new sponsorship by the Miss Boston Pageant.

She will represent Cambridge at the Miss Massachusetts Pageant in June. The winner of the state title will represent Massachusetts at the Miss America Pageant in 2013.

She is a student at Syracuse University, according to her LinkedIn profile, where she hopes to earn a bachelor’s degree in public relations in 2014.

She is a member of the Society of Professional Journalists and Gamma Phi Beta Sorority.

Sunde was graduated from North Quincy High School 2010. During her high school years, she was student body president, senior class president and junior class president, as well as a member of the National Honor Society and Foreign Language Honor Society.

According to her Facebook profile, she works at the Discovery Center at the Museum of Science in Boston, and has participated in the Petite World Pageants and Princess America Pageants.

She was crowned Miss Teen Petite World 2012.
