Carrie Prejean said that a video tape she made for her former boyfriend several years ago was “the biggest mistake” of her life.
The former Miss California USA told radio talk show and television host Sean Hannity Monday that she recorded the intimate tape for a boyfriend that she loved. At the time she was 17-years old. Prejean is now 22.
She said that her ex-boyfriend “betrayed” her by selling the tape.
“They can call it whatever they want to call it, but it was the biggest mistake of my life,” Prejean said. “I was all by myself and I was sending a boyfriend at the time who I loved and cared about a video of me … I was not having sex with anybody and you call it whatever you want.”
She confessed to having bad judgment at the time she made the tape.
“I was a teenager at the time and never did I think it would ever come out. But it was bad judgment and it’s embarrassing and it’s humiliating to be talking about this now on national TV if you can imagine.”
