Marketing veteran Carrie Morgan brings her blogging expertise to the next monthly meeting of the Scottsdale Society of Women Writers Wednesday, June 11, 5:30-7:30 p.m., at the Chaparral Suites Resort, 5001 N. Scottsdale Rd., Scottsdale, Ariz.

Morgan believes blogging is a critical component when it comes to building an audience, convincing them of your expertise, and selling books. In her presentation, she will describe the differences between maintaining your own blog and guest blogging. She’ll also share her ideas on how to land guest blogging opportunities and how to post topics that resonate with readers and build loyalty.

A marketing veteran with more than 20 years’ experience, Phoenix-based Morgan specializes in content marketing, on-page SEO, digital public relations and social media. She is a contributing writer for such industry publications as Convince & Convert, PR Daily, MarketingProfs, PRSA and Social Media Today.
