The Nov. 4 episode of “DWTS” promises to be epic. That’s because legendary Cher is set not only to judge the dances, but she will also perform on Monday night. Everyone is excited about Cher appearing on “Dancing with the Stars” including host Tom Bergeron and fellow judge Carrie Ann Inaba.
On Nov. 3, Tom Bergeron was all a-twitter about Cher and tweeted…
Ying Yang Update: I’ll spend Mon. night with @cher on @DancingABC and Thurs. morning with Big Bird on @sesamestreet.
Like Lacey Schwimmer, Tom got stuck at LAX for hours after last week's shooting incident. He said on Twitter that after flying from New York, he had to walk out of the airport after a long delay.
Tom has hosted “DWTS” since season one in 2005. He has also hosted “America’s Funniest Videos” since 2001. He won a Daytime Emmy Award for “Hollywood Squares,” which he hosted from 2000-2004, and a Primetime Emmy Award in 2012 for “Dancing with the Stars.” According to “TV Guide,” Tom Bergeron is set to star on "Sesame Street" on Thursday, Nov. 7 in a new episode titled “Gotcha.” He will appear in a hidden-camera TV show that tries to catch people using bad manners.
Carrie Ann Inaba is also all a-Twitter about Cher on "DWTS." On Nov. 3, she tweeted…

According to IMDB, one of Carrie Ann’s first dancing jobs was a dancer on “In Living Color.” She went on to perform with Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, Ricky Martin and David Copperfield. The veteran dancer and choreographer has an extensive and impressive list of TV credits including “American Idol,” “So You Think You Can Dance,” “Dance Fever” and others. On the big screen, Inaba starred in two “Austin Powers” films and “Showgirls.” She’s also an accomplished recording pop artist in Japan and owns her own company, EnterMediaArts Inc.
UPDATE! DWTS! Thank God I Get 2 JUDGE THE BEAUTY, EMOTION, PASSION, EFFORT & HUMANITY OF THE DANCE. I’M QUALIFIED 4 THAT.
According to a recent ABC press release posted on Media Net, “DWTS” will kick off the night with a spectacular opening number choreographed by Emmy-nominated Mandy Moore. The competition will then be split into two rounds. In the first round, each couple will take on a dance style they have not previously performed including the Salsa, Quickstep, Samba, Cha Cha, Paso Doble, and Jive. In the second round, the cast will dance together in two separate teams, with each couple having a featured solo. At the end of the night, one couple will face elimination. Last week, Snooki Polizzi was eliminated, despite earning higher scores than Leah Remini and Bill Engvall.
