The new season of Dancing With the Stars is set to debut on September 20th, but judge Carrie Ann Inaba had cats on her mind when she called in Dr. Katrina from Animal Planet’s new reality show called Housecat Housecall, a feline version of The Dog Whisperer. The 30-minute show airs at 10:30 a.m. E/P on Saturdays and at 8 AM E/P on Animal Planet.

Carrie Ann Inaba was having socialization issues with her three cats and her boyfriend’s two cats. After they moved in together, the five cats, including two alpha males had to learn how to blend into one big happy feline family. “It’s a whole lot of fun, but a whole lot of fur,” Inaba said. Dr. Katrina Warren from Housecat Housecall was able to help Carrie Ann with her five cats. “We learned to work with their natural cycles,” the Dancing With the Stars judge said. Inaba and her boyfriend basically sleep trained their cats so that they all go to bed at the same time. “We worked on getting them to get out their energy before bedtime,” she added. Now, it’s a lot calmer in a cat-filled household.

Like her counterparts and fellow judges Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli, Carrie Ann Inaba returns to Dancing With the Stars for season eleven on Monday, September 20th. During the summer, she took time off to develop other projects. “It was my summer of creativity.”

Housecat Housecall presented by Purina Cat Chow is a weekly show about real people, real cats and real answers. Each week, Dr. Katrina visits cat-loving families and works with them to make sense out of a wide range of feline puzzlers. Whether it's just a quirky behavior or something more complex, Dr. Katrina suggests real solutions that help bring peace, harmony, and well-being back to the homes of cats and owners.

Note from editor: If you have cats, you’ll definitely want to check out Housecat Housecalls. As the proud owner of two cats, I find this new show both very interesting and chock full of helpful information when it comes to caring for the feline set.

Thanks, I will tune in this weekend. I am the proud owner of three cats. They get along for the most part but we do have some issues. I hope the show addresses some of these issues that pertain to our household.
