Carrabba’s Italian Grill to offer Amore Mondays with special menu

As summer fades away with the start of football, school and cooler temperatures, Carrabba's Italian Grill, is now offering Amore Mondays with special menus and pricing.

Amore Mondays features three courses for $12, $15 or $18. The first course can be an appetizer with choices of calamari, bruschetta Paolo or meatball and ricotta flatbread or a third course of dessert choices including John Cole (vanilla ice cream with caramel sauce and roasted cinnamon rum pecans), mini cannoli or panna cotta. The second course is a choice of house made soup or side salad.

For $12, entrée choices include Manicotti made with rolled pasta, Romano, ricotta, mozzarella and fontina cheese; Lasagne, fresh pasta layered with sauce and Italian cheeses; Pollo La Scala chicken sautéed and topped with white wine or Tag Pic Pac with Wood Grilled Chicken with Tagliarini pasta from the Emilia-Romagna and Marches regions of Italy.

For $15, one can choose Fettuccine Carrabba-Fettuccine Alfredo, wood-grilled chicken, sautéed mushrooms and peas; Chicken Bryan topped with goat cheese, sundried tomatoes, basil and housemade lemon butter sauce; Grilled Tuscan Skewers with wood-grilled sirloin, red onion and tomato skewers topped with Chianti wine sauce or Shrimp and Scallop Linguine ALLA Vodka made with sautéed shrimp and scallops tossed with linguine in vodka tomato cream sauce.

For $18, entrée choices include Lobster Mac and Cheese with Cavatappi corkscrew pasta with lobster, pancetta and four cheeses, topped with Panko breaded ravioli filled with five Italian cheeses, lightly fried then baked; Mahi Wulfe lightly breaded, wood-grilled and topped with artichokes, sundried tomatoes and housemade basil lemon butter sauce; Veal Marsala Sautéed and topped with mushrooms, prosciutto and housemade Lombardo Marsala wine sauce; Sirlion Marsala wood-grilled and topped with mushrooms, prosciutto and housemade Lombardo Marsala wine sauce or Spiedino Di Mare with shrimp and sea scallops coated with Italian breadcrumbs, wood-grilled and topped with housemade lemon butter sauce.

Founded by two Sicilians, Johnny Carrabba and Damian Mandola, from Texas who love to cook and eat; Carrabba’s features Italian dishes prepared from the freshest ingredients sourced from around the world. Mussels are grown and imported from Prince Edward Island; La Rambla extra virgin olive oil comes from Catelonia, Spain and Garafolo pasta is imported from a small town outside Pompeii. Everything is handmade including sauces, dressings, soups and desserts.
