Caroline Manzo's daughter, Lauren Manzo, had something big happen to her when shoe shopping recently - she realized that she was finally ready to marry. As she stated in an interview with Wetpaint Entertainment, posted on Wednesday, Dec. 18, Lauren said that her deciding not to splurge on a really expensive pair of shoes in favor of investing the money towards her future was a big sign to her that she's ready to settle down.
"I think I just needed to be thrown into it. I told Vito a few months ago that I thought I was ready. I told him, ‘Let’s do it and have a long engagement.’ And now that I’m in it, I’m great, I’m ready," she said of her engagement to Vito Scalia.
The biggest sign that she's ready is the change in her spending habits.
“I was on the verge of buying myself a pair of Tom Ford high heeled-boots the other day. But then I realized, I’m engaged - $2,000 boots are not an option right now. I need to be more responsible. I’m engaged and going to be married and I’d rather save for a house, instead!" she revealed.
While they're reigning in their spending now, Lauren Manzo and Vito Scalia may be spending a little extra to celebrate New Year's Eve at Chris and Albie Manzo's restaurant, Little Town NJ. One person who will probably be there is mom Caroline Manzo.
