“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Caroline Manzo may have been the mother of all the housewives in the beginning, but it sounds like much bigger drama has been taking over the show. With Teresa Giudice’s legal issues, Caroline has become a mere supporter and listener, as her family can’t top the drama. According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report published on Oct. 5, “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Caroline Manzo is apparently done with the show because her story line is disappearing with Jacqueline Laurita’s son and Teresa Giudice’s legal drama.
“The truth is, Caroline’s storyline on the show has simply just come to an end,” the insider has revealed. “The show really and truly has become about the Gorgas and the Giudices. Whereas Caroline used to be a main player, her role has turned into more of an advisor this season. As far as “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” goes, there’s just not a lot left for her to do, which is fine by her. She doesn’t want to be at the center of the drama and the ugliness anymore.”
Of course, Caroline has filmed a pilot for her own show, “Manzo’d With Children,” which was something she was thrilled about. She has never been proud of the drama and she wants to spend more time with her children. “She loved filming the pilot to her new show and hopes very much it gets picked up,” the insider continued. “It will have a much lighter feel and it will be about her kids and her family. And at the end of the day, that’s who she wants to be surrounded by.”
