Caroline and Albert Manzo have been married for 28 years, and in a recent interview Caroline, one of the stars of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” said that if husband Albert cheated on her she would forgive him.
In an exclusive interview published by In Touch magazine on March 20, Caroline Manzo opened up about her thoughts on infidelity and if she thinks one mistake should end a marriage. In her book “Let Me Tell You Something” Manzo is “brutally honest” on the subject of marital infidelity, and told In Touch magazine that she does not think one mistake is grounds for ending a marriage.
“If Al cheated on me 25 years ago, one night, that was then and this is now. No one on this planet can say with 100 percent certainty that their partner never cheated. I have no indication that he has, but if it didn’t happen yesterday, last week, a month ago, I’m not worried about it.”
Caroline and Albert Manzo had very little money in the early years of their marriage, and having three children in three years added to their financial burdens. Caroline says that sometimes they could barely afford diapers. Manzo believes tough times can bring a couple closer together if they chose to be happy and power through the rough spots together.
“If your husband is a good guy and a provider and you have a tremendous connection, you can’t throw your marriage away over a one-night stand. My husband is my best friend. Marriage is worth the fight. I would go to hell and back for him [Albert Manzo] and he would do the same [for me].”
In February Caroline’s younger sister Dina Manzo tweeted that she and husband Tommy Manzo had separated in October of 2012. Dina's tweet said, in part, “My secret…I have been separated since October, my heart hurts but Tommy & I will always share a very special love.”
Tommy Manzo is the younger brother of Albert Manzo. The Manzo brothers own The Brownstone, an upscale venue for weddings, charity events and other special occasions.
