At the end of last year, Lauren Manzo became engaged to longtime boyfriend Vito Scalia, and now, they are planning for a 2015 wedding.

Although Lauren and Teresa were in each other's lives for years, Caroline, who ended her friendship with Teresa years ago, doesn't feel that it would be appropriate to have Teresa at the upcoming wedding -- especially considering some of the ongoing feuds she and her husband have with those who will be invited, such as the Gorgas.

“Caroline doesn’t have a relationship with Teresa any more,” a Manzo pal told Radar Online on April 16. “They ended things on good terms, but they were never really friends. Teresa just isn’t in their lives anymore.”

“Why would Lauren invite someone she hasn’t spoken to in over a year?” the source continued. “She and her mom have no relationship with Teresa. It isn’t rude. I mean, would you invite someone to your wedding that hasn’t spoken to you, or even congratulated you on your engagement?”

Another issue Lauren is having is the decision of whether or not to invite her Aunt Dina. For years now, Dina and Caroline have been estranged, so having her at the wedding may lead to an unnecessary tension.

After her engagement was officially announced, Lauren had reportedly decided to invite Dina, but after having a few months to think about the decision, she could change her mind.

“Dina is a wild card. Ultimately, it is Lauren’s big day – and there is no room for unwanted family drama,” the source said.

Earlier this month, Lauren celebrated her engagement with a party in New Jersey. Noticeably absent from the event was Dina, which seems to hint that she will also be absent on Lauren's wedding day.

Those who were in attendance at the party include Jacqueline and Chris Laurita, Kathy and Rich Walike and Melissa and Joe Gorga, all of which will be invited to Lauren's wedding.
