Caroline Manzo and her sister Dina signed on for the Real Housewives of New Jersey when the series first began, but a couple of seasons in, their relationship became strained. After Dina left the show, following season 2, it was reported that she and Caroline were no longer speaking.
In the press, Caroline claimed it was Teresa Giudice who was responsible for the rift between them. "[Dina] was lead to believe a lot of things that aren’t true," Caroline explained to Andy Cohen in late 2011. "She has a good friend that likes to talk and when she says things to her that aren’t true against me and Jacqueline [Laurita] … I’m looking at you [Teresa]."
Following the interview, Dina took to her blog were she denied that Teresa was responsible. "I will NOT get into [what] did happen behind the scenes with certain family members and there is no right or wrong really … it depends on who you ask," she wrote. "Feelings did get hurt … I won’t get into them because I have no desire to rehash the past. Teresa had nothing to do with me staying away from everyone."
Although it is still unclear what exactly happened between them, In Touch Weekly is now reporting that the years long feud is finally over.
On December 4, Dina told the mag that she and Caroline are "totally fine."
"When we see each other, we kiss each other hello," Dina revealed. "We just don’t hang out for Sunday dinner, that’s all. I will be at Lauren’s wedding. If Caroline needed me and called me tomorrow, I would be there. I love my sister. I will always love her."
