Carolina Rebellion concert 2013: Limp Bizkit, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains

The Carolina Rebellion is a two day concert series, offering performances by top bands in Alternative Rock and Metal. On Feb. 1, 2013, the announcement for the ticket sale date is released. The concert's lineup totals 27 bands and features music, food booths and product vendors.

The event is in its third year. This year's location is new and the festival extends to a two-day weekend event. Ticket packages are available for one or both concert days. The sponsors offer hotel discount packages for visitors or you can camp outdoors under the stars.

The Charlotte Motor Speedway is a race track featuring professional NASCAR racing, and has multiple camp sites. The property has seven sites, the concert taking place at the "Rock City" campgrounds. The Speedway offers free bus shuttles and trams on the property. Hotel with the concert ticket package, features the nearby Great Wolf Lodge, which is an Indoor Water Park Resort, minutes from the speedway.

Feb. 1, Grunge Report cites, "Carolina Rebellion, the weekend-long festival in Charlotte, NC, will be boasting two major headlining bands this year: Alice in Chains and Soundgarden.

On Saturday, May 4th, Alice in Chains will be fronting a lineup that also includes Limp Bizkit, Deftones, and the Sick Puppies, while on Sunday, May 5th, Soundgarden headlines on a day where Rise Against and Bush will also be playing."

Tickets to the festival go on sale next Friday, February 8th, at 10:00 a.m.
