Recently, Carolina Herrera along with Project Paz hosted a cocktail event at the CH Carolina Herrera store on the Upper East Side. Project Paz is an organization based in New York that is dedicated to promoting peace in Juarez, Mexico. The event celebrated the launch of the exclusive leather bracelet that Carolina Herrera and Project Paz designed together. Paula Mendoza, Eugenia González Ruiz-Olloqui, Giovanna Campagna, Valerie Boster, Amanda Hearst, and Sofia Sanchez Barrenechea were also hosts of the cocktail party. Other notable guests in attendance included Carlos Campos, and DJ Chelsea Leyland, who spun the beats at the event.

I spoke with Carolina Herrera about her admirable involvement with Project Paz. She partnered with Project Paz as a result of her daughter being involved with the organization and because she “[loves] the organization, [believes] in what they do, and [likes] the name. We need peace in the world, and hope and peace together.” The bracelet retails for $50 and the entire cost goes toward the Project Paz initiative. What an amazing endeavor!
