It was Laney Brown's Christmas wish to have carolers sing their tunes to her and that wish caused around 10,000 people to squash into her street in West Reading, on Saturday night.
"It's heartwarming what people did for her," says San Francisco resident, Katie Adler.
Laney wasn't able to go outside, but Newser.com says:
A posting on her Facebook page says that Laney:
"took her last breath at home in her bed at 3:10 surrounded by all her family and friends," (Facebook page)
"I miss her so much already," continues the post.
