Carol's Daughter: Lenox Square Opening

Atlanta's Buckhead neighborhood was all a buzz this weekend with the grand opening of Carol's Daughter in Lenox Square Mall.

Entrepreneur Lisa Price, is in fact Carol's daughter, and grew up with all her mother's and grandmother's love and their home remedies. With all these home grown fragrant herbs and spices, Lisa fell in love with  fragrances early in her childhood.  

Between Lisa posing for pictures with her family and new friends, she sat down for a moment to chat with the Urban Style Examiner.

The Urban Examiner learned that as Carol's Daughter grows in size, Lisa is still able to concentrate on her first love product development.  Her well trained and energetic team is well versed in Lisa's vision for each of the Carol's Daughter locations.  The same love for the brand and the cozy feel that the Fort Greene, Brooklyn Heritage store is known for, is also translated in all her locations and now the Lenox Square store.

Carol's Daughter has long been an excellent resource for women of color who have natural hair but Lisa reminded the Urban Style Examiner that Carol's product line is also great for women who prefer to relax their hair.

Both Jada Pinkett Smith and Mary J. Blige are faces of the brand and investors. Lisa is very pleased to have such two strong and beautiful women represent who Carol's Daughter as a brand.  Both Jada and Mary overcame many obstacles in their youth to achieve their greatness.  They both share their life's joys and pains and take the time to give back to  their respective communities.
