Carnival Victory moves to Miami for 4 and 5 night cruises

Weekends just got a little longer (and a lot more fun) for guests aboard the Carnival Victory. Thursday departures include visits to Key West and Cozumel, Mexico and an early return to Miami on Monday morning. Have to get to the office by 9am? It's easily accomplished with an early 7am debarkation.

Mixing it up a bit, on Mondays the Victory heads out on five night cruises to Grand Turk in the Turks and Caicos Islands plus a day at the private beach on Half Moon Cay, Bahamas and then a stop at Nassau. A return to Miami on Saturday mornings, followed by a quick turnaround, and a late afternoon sends the Victory on another five night cruise, this time to George Town, Grand Cayman and Ocho Rios, Jamaica.

Back on the ship, add in a 214-foot onboard water slide, Camp Carnival for supervised kids activities, the Punchliner Comedy Club and outdoor movies on a giant LED screen and you've got something for everyone. The Victory has two full-service restaurants plus a huge buffet area with carving stations, international cuisine in addition to a 24-hour pizzeria.

Combine any two or even all three cruise itineraries and you have a really interesting back-to-back long cruise without repeating any ports. Just be sure to book early so that you can have the same cabin for each cruise.

In November, after a 49-day dry dock for a $155 million dollar refurbishment, the former Carnival Destiny will return to Miami as the "new" Carnival Sunshine. This mega-makeover includes many new dining, bar and entertainment venues that are offered as part of Carnival's Fun Ship 2.0 ship enhancements found on many Carnival ships, including their newest ship, the Carnival Breeze.
