Carnival Cruise Lines introduces Fun Ship 2.0 (part two)

What could Carnival Cruise Lines possibly do more of to enhance its cruising experience? Well, Your Charlotte Cruise Ships Examiner wrote in yesterday's article about enhancements that Carnival is putting on its ships. But, that was only half of the story. The other half comes now with Carnival's Fun Ship 2.0 program.

The rest of the new features are as follows:

  • RedFrog Rum Bar poolside - this is an expansion of the popular RedFrog Pub available on some Carnival ships. Here you will find a great selection of Caribbean rum-based concoctions, but yes, plenty of Carnival's signature private-label draught beer, ThirstyFrog Red. This feature will be coming to Carnival Liberty (October 2011), Carnival Breeze (June 2012), Carnival Conquest (October 2012), and Carnival Glory (November 2012);
  • BlueIguana Tequila Bar - is rum not your potent potable of choice? Never fear - the BlueIguana is serving up nice frozen tequila drinks and cold Mexican beer. BlueIguana Tequila Bar is coming to Carnival Liberty (October 2011), Carnival Breeze (June 2012), Carnival Conquest (October 2012), and Carnival Glory (November 2012);
  • BlueIguana Cantina - in line with the new Tequila bar, the Cantina features freshly-made tacos and burritos stuffed specially for your fulfillment. Throw in their homemade tortillas or chips and salsa into the mix, and you have a casual day-or-night dining experience that you won't forget! The Cantina will be coming to Carnival Liberty (October 2011), Carnival Breeze (June 2012), Carnival Conquest (October 2012), and Carnival Glory (November 2012);
  • Alchemy Bar - this "pharmacy" as Carnival calls it will allow you to experiment with new drink ideas. Also according to Carnival: "Let our lab-coat-clad mixologists prescribe you something from the bar, upping your energy with Passion Potions or Energizing Elixers, or for a little pick-me-up, try something from Relief for What Ails, or what we like to call Cocktail Therapy. These eclectic creations offer prescriptions for fun, and you can even take matters of taste into your own hands and create your own custom concoction from a variety of unique ingredients." This fantastic lab will be coming to Carnival Liberty (October 2011), Carnival Conquest (October 2012) and Carnival Glory (November 2012);
  • Library Bar - who thought reading could be so fun? This incredible lounge features intimate cocktails and self-serve wine dispensers. Board games will also allow you to enjoy your inner child while relaxing like an adult. This feature will arrive at Carnival Breeze (June 2012);
