Carnival Cruise Line really wants your shore excursion business. They want it so bad, they are willing to put their money where their mouth is.
If you book a shore excursion through Carnival, whether it be pre-cruise or during your cruise and then you find a similar tour advertised to the general public at a cheaper price, you'll get 110 percent of the difference back in the form of a shipboard credit.
While repeat customers know that booking shore excursions via the cruise line has advantages such as refunds for bad weather days or the ship waiting for you should your excursion bus be delayed in returning to the ship, new cruisers are booking less with the cruise lines. This is due to the passengers trying to find better deals elsewhere.
In order to receive the 100 percent of the difference, you'll need to provide Carnival with a few details such as the name of the competitor, excursion name, where the tour was advertised, duration, price and details including what's included whether that be lunch, dinner, transportation, etc. The tour must be on the same date as the tour that you purchased with Carnival.
Carnival will apply this offer only to North American sailings and claims can take up to 48 hours to process.
