Carney enrages Bieber fans by taking his beef with Bieber to his Twitter profile. Patrick Carney of the Black Keys has inexplicably changed his Twitter profile pic to a photo of the popular teen heartthrob along with the tag line, "official twitter for the actual verified Justin Bieber DOS virtual buddy," according to a Feb.17, 2013 report by TMZ.
Bieber fans are firing back as Carney enrages Bieber with his actions. One of the best comments from a protective fan read, "do you even know how stupid and immature u look doing this. arent u like fifty?" Carney isn't quite 50. In fact, he is only in his early 30s, but the point is clear. This isn't an adult way to behave.
Carney started the feud when he insulted Justin Bieber in front of TMZ cameras last week by implying the Canadian pop star doesn't make real music and wasn't worthy of one of the music industry's highest awards. The 32-year-old drummer told the photographer, "Grammys are for like music, not for money ... and he's making a lot of money. He should be happy."
Bieber obviously heard about Carney's comments, tweeting Carney "should be slapped slapped around haha." Perhaps it wasn't the most appropriate response, but Bieber didn't start the feud.
