Before you ho-hum Carmen Electra as a guest judge on So You Think You Can Dance on Wednesday night, let us remind you she can dance. After last week with guest judge Kristen Chenowith, the judges apparently are smaller names but big talent on dance…Carmen included.
While there is no telling on what to expect for the show, what is to know is that Carmen got into the entertainment business in the dance genre. Performing in the It’s Magic show at Kings Island amusement park in Mason, Ohio, the first gig in 1990 started something big for the dancer. She moved to California and got a chance in showbiz with dozens of projects over the years that included dancing, acting and of course Playboy spreads. The magazine has hosted the entertainer four times with cover placement including the 55th anniversary edition. Plus, Electra is widely known for her exercise videos that have her moving and shaking in the studio.
On the show Carmen Electra is expected to give feedback for the performances that bring to light the beauty and grace of dance. Sharing experience of a dancing background and a strong focus of movement, Electra might be the perfect choice for a judge as she has seen plenty and can appreciate the SYTYCD journey each of the contestants have taken. Even though it does seem to be a bit odd for this popular dance show.
