On Dec. 13, Carly Rose Sonenclar has arrived at "The X Factor" USA stage to wait it out before finding out if she is going on to go on to the finals of the popular TV talent show. Last night, this tiny artist delivered two iconic songs, one by Elton John called "Your Song" and the other by John Lennon called "Imagine."
With next to no negative criticism, this 13-year-old songstress was a rave with judges Britney Spears, Simon Cowell, LA Reid, and Demi Lovato. The two tunes were simply the last in a long season of well-received performances that had this particular talent vying for the top spot on the small screen program's leaderboard every week, landing at either the number one position or the number two position each time.
Carly Rose, who hails from high profile Westchester County, New York, has constantly traded off to take the lead with country crooner Tate Stevens, who comes from a small community in Missouri.
That said, this modest talent is obviously a favorite on the American version of the British reality show. Still, Sonenclar has remained humble when it came to talking about her enviable position in this quest to earn a $5 million recording contract.
So, will Carly Rose Sonenclar remain victorious? After covering both Elton John and John Lennon on "The X Factor" USA last night, will this teen be catapulted to the top of the heap next week, taking the win on this small screen favorite?
Since the answer depends on how much of an impact she makes on the voting public, only time will tell the tale regarding this huge show business decision.
