Carly Rae Jepsen looked stunning on Sunday night at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards. The entertainer was nominated for several awards, but the artist didn't pick up any new hardware. While the fans might have thought it was a bust for fans, it appears that the star got to meet one of her idols behind the scenes. On Sunday night Carly Rae Jepsen dished that she met Melissa Etheridge.
“I met one of my idols tonight! Melissa Etheridge - beautiful and inspiring woman. #Grammys,” tweeted Carly Rae Jepsen from her official Twitter account on Sunday. Including a photo to share with the fans, the special moment obviously was special as Carly Rae had a big smile.
While the Grammys definitely are all about picking the best of the year, many artists come to the show to see their friends and mingle with people in the business. Getting to meet an idol is important too and that’s why it isn't surprising that Carly Rae Jepsen shared this special moment with her friends.
