Carly Rae Jepsen followed the 2013 Grammys dress code as mandated by CBS, according to a Feb. 10 CNN Entertainment report. It seems that CBS wanted stars who attended the Grammys 2013 to keep their breasts, butts and genitals well-covered despite the fact that sex sells.
Carly Rae Jepsen, a two-time Grammy nominee, followed these strict rules regarding sexiness. However, Jennifer Lopez decided to wear a dress cut up to there nearly exposing her lady bits. While J Lo did expose plenty of leg and one whole shoulder. In all, she was still more or less covered especially when compared to previous red carpet looks.
Of course, some people do not like Carly Rae Jepsen's Grammys 2013 look, but the "Call Me Maybe" singer kept to the CBS fashion rules. She said,
"I got the email, and I thought, 'It’s OK, I wasn’t going to go there anyways.'"
While Jepsen's song was an unexpected hit for 2012, she seems unlikely to win in a group of nominees that includes Kelly Clarkson, Katy Perry, Rihanna, Fun., and Adele.
