Carly Rae Jepsen is now the new face for Candie's. The Canadian pop star will appear in the spring 2013 ads for the junior's clothing line. MTV Style broke the news on Jan. 23. They also reprinted some of the pictures from her photo shoot.
In one photo, Carly wears a pink mini dress. Her back is to the camera to show off the heart shape cutout. She also wears a red skinny belt and white satin dress shoes.
The "Call Me Maybe" singer also takes some silly photos. She poses with a dog that wears a party hat. She also plays around with large sunglasses and smiley face lollipops.
The Candie's collection will include lots of flirty skirts and floral dresses. It arrives just in time for Valentine's Day and for spring.
Carly Rae Jepsen follows the footsteps of Lea Michele, Vanessa Hudgens and Britney Spears. Carly was also the face for Wet Seal, so she's already a professional. What makes this photo shoot different is that she took the photos herself. It gave the singer a chance to show off her personality.
Carly said in a recent press release:
"It's a dream come true to be in the company of such amazing women! The photo-shoot was really fun because it was so different—I'm actually the photographer as well and can't wait to share it with my fans!"
