Carlton Gebbia and Kyle Richards didn't hit it off when they first met on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' fourth season, and in the episodes following, things only became more strained between them.
At Ken and Mauricio's birthday celebration at Lisa's house, they got into an all-out screaming match as cameras rolled, and now, after Kyle accused Lisa of planning to confront her with allegations of her husband's cheating, Carlton is standing up for Lisa, and claiming Kyle should have been a much more loyal friend.
“I was there that day in Palm Springs and I saw no magazine nor did I hear her say to take it,” Carlton revealed in her Bravo blog, according to a March 3 report by Radar Online. “At any time, Kyle, her supposed friend, could have spoken up and stopped the ridiculousness ambush on Lisa about whether she did or did not say take the tabloid. Kyle deliberately focused her misplaced anger at Lisa."
It was certainly odd that Kyle would believe Brandi, who she has feuded with for a couple seasons, over her friend Lisa, who she had known for years prior to the show's beginning. Why, all of the sudden, is Brandi the believable one and Lisa not -- especially after so many years of friendship?
“Enough with this bloody magazine that Kyle has to constantly resurrect again. Stop giving these alleged cheating affairs the spotlight. Let sleeping dogs lie,” Carlton continued. “Kyle’s jealously has no limits apparently. She sat quietly gleeful after casting the first stone and hiding that hand of hers yet again. Really sad. I guess who needs enemies with friends like her?”
The feud between Carlton and Kyle continues to grow and in a few weeks, fans will see them come face to face at the reunion special where they will battle it out, possibly for the last time.
As prior reports have claimed, Carlton, along with Joyce Giraud, will not be returning to the series for season five.
