Colombian vallenato singer Carlos Vives who received the Billboard Spirit of Hope Award this past Thursday presented by salsa singer Marc Anthony united their voices and love for music to record a duo together. It is one of ten unedited songs in Carlos Vives most recent album "Más + Corazón Profundo" which is scheduled to be released May 13.

The video to “Cuando Nos Volvamos a Encontrar”, recorded Friday while both singers were still in Miami, will be released in a couple of weeks. The song is a collaboration of two great artists representing and uniting two different music genres in salsa and vallenato although the song is leading more towards vallenato. The song released on iTunes, Amazon and other digital platforms has already hit top sales and views. On youtube the song has 288,585 views.

"'Cuando Nos Volvamos a Encontrar' is a collaboration that came out of the friendship, the desire to join two big names and enjoy the musical genes that bind us. The fact that Marc had such a good time in both the recording and the video is a sign of great work," stated Carlos Vives.

Both singers have made an exceptional comeback and contribution to the Latin music industry. Carlos Vives who was absent from recording new material and away from the music industry the past eight years hit top music charts with singles from his “Corazón Profundo” album. As for Marc Anthony always active in the music industry, recorded a new album “3.0” with its first release single “Vivir Mi Vida” hitting top music charts and winning 10 Billboard Latin Music Awards of his 15 nominations.

Without doubt, “Cuando Nos Volvamos a Encontrar” will be a number one hit soon.
