May 11, 2011 – Carlos Santana and George Lopez will tour together as the “Divine Rascals” starting September 3 in Morrison, Colorado, and ending October 1 in Los Angeles. Their five presentations fall in the middle of Santana’s “Sound of Collective Consciousness Tour” which begins August 25 in Seattle and will conclude September 30 in Palm Springs.
“When George comes in the middle of set,” said Santana to the Associated Press last week, “it’s like the Niagara Falls. My stomach hurts, I put my guitar down and I know that I’m going to have a quality time.” On the other hand, Lopez said that watching Santana laugh at his jokes “is one of the most amazing experiences visually that I’ve ever had.”
It seems these two popular performers enjoy each other’s company tremendously and are now intending to gift their public with a combined treat of music and laughter.
