In a devastating turn of events, a dog named Carl is again homeless.
Carl had once been the co-pilot of a big rig, happily traveling the open road and living a good life. When the rules at the company Carl's owner worked for changed and dogs were no longer allowed in the trucks, Carl found himself at a shelter. There he sat, tugging at everyone's heartstrings while he was networked for placement.
When Carl was adopted, there was a collective sigh of relief. He was such a great dog and a happily ever after was just what he deserved.
That happily ever after was cut short by the sudden death of Carl's new dad.
Carl is now in a foster home and doing as well as can be expected for a dog who has gone through so much change in a matter of so few months. In the short time he spent in his new home, Carl blossomed. He is good with adults, children and other dogs. Carl does not like cats. Already neutered, housebroken and up to date on vaccinations, Carl requires nothing but someone to love and take care of him.
