Carl Edwards will be driving for Joe Gibbs Racing, who will be fielding a fourth car, in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series for the 2015 season.

It was announced that Edwards will drive the #19 Toyota with Arris sponsoring the car for 17 races, no other sponsor has been named for the team as of today's announcement.

For those who do not know what Arris does, it is a tele-communication equipment manufacturing company.

"It will be nice to be able to talk about this now," Edwards said after today's announcement. "With allthe work that's gone into it."

After Roush-Fenway Racing announced their 2015 lineup, leaving out the #99 driver Edwards, at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Many speculated where Edwards would hang his hat. Rumors flew about a move to Joe Gibbs Racing, and an awaited announcement by JGR.

During the 2011 season, JGR was seeking Edwards aggressively before he re-signed with Roush-Fenway Racing.

"Obviously a huge day for me and my career and I'm looking forward to next year," Edwards said today. "We're competitors for the rest of this season and I'm going to try to make it tough, on Joe Gibbs Racing, as I can for the rest of the year."

"But starting next year it will be really exciting to race for championships with Joe Gibbs Racing."

Edwards will re-join former teammate Matt Kenseth, driver of the #20 Toyota, as well as drivers Kyle Busch, driver of the #18 Toyota and Denny Hamlin, driver of the #11 Toyota, for JGR.
