The Brigance Brigade hosted its first ever Corporate Cultivation Breakfast on February 28, 2013. The breakfast took place at Carefirst BlueShield’s Canton, MD location. During the breakfast, the Brigance Brigade Foundation received two generous donations. The first donation came from CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield in the amount of $25,000. The second donation came from Kelly & Associates Insurance Group. The Kelly & Associates Insurance Group promised to match up to $10,000 in donations which was actually exceeded. The Brigance Brigade Foundation is a nonprofit organization that was founded by former Baltimore Ravens and Colts player, CFL and NFL champion, ALS advocate and current 2012 Super Bowl Champion Baltimore Ravens Senior Advisor to Player Development, O.J. Brigance and his wife Chanda. O.J. was diagnosed with ALS in 2007. O.J. has been fighting the disease with his wife by his side.
