Career transition assistance for unemployed Chicagoans

During a career change, a healthy support network can make all the difference.  The Career Transitions Center (CTC) of Chicago aims to provide professional, emotional and spiritual support to those seeking a job, looking for meaningful work, or otherwise undergoing a career transition.  The organization, founded in 1997, provides resources to unemployed and underemployed individuals who otherwise cannot afford job placement services.

CTC has a full calendar of networking, interview preparation, and job skills seminars.  A core skills seminar entitled "Building Job Search Skills for a Successful Transition"  begins this April.  Other services include: coaching, weekly peer groups, accountability groups, Monday evening programs, and Wednesday afternoon skills seminars.

According to the CTC website, membership costs only $150 for the first quarter and $100 for subsequent quarters.   Additional assessments are provided for $50 each.

In a time of career change for so many, CTC offers hope and inspiration to help ensure a successful career transition.  For more information visit the CTC website or contact CTC at (312)-906-9908.
