The World Series game 6 is tonight, and the Boston Red Sox could end up winning the series if they can beat the St. Louis Cardinals at Fenway Park. If you are planning to watch this game in person, you could be ponying up for the priciest World Series tickets ever, according to an Oct. 30 CBS Sports report. It may just be a better plan to just catch game 6 on TV or on live stream video.
Tickets for game 6 of the World Series at Fenway Park are $1,868, making these tickets the most expensive in World Series history. That is a shockingly high price, but lots of people want to go see this game, and there are not a lot of seats available in Boston to see it in person. Boston leads the series 3-2, and the Cardinals are in a must win situation tonight if they want to have a chance to come back and win the series.
Boston hopes that John Lackey will win game 6 for them, and thus the series. However, St. Louis is going to send Michael Wacha to the mound in hopes that he can hold off the Red Sox to give the Cardinals a chance to avoid elimination.
You can catch the Boston Red Sox vs. the Cardinals in game 6 of the 2013 World Series live on TV starting at 8:07 p.m. EDT on Fox. If you are unable to view it on TV, you can also catch a live streaming video of the World Series game 6 by subscribing to MLB Postseason TV (if you haven't already).
It will be interesting to see if Boston can take home the pennant tonight, or if the Cardinals can force a game 7, which would be played on Halloween night if it happens.
