The Cardinals dominance of the Cincinnati Reds in St. Louis continued today as the Cards won the rubber match at Busch Stadium.

Reds pitcher Homer Bailey pitched a quality game until Cardinal bats exploded for four home runs. Cardinal’s pitcher Jake Westbrook earned the win in the 10-0 shutout. Westbrook walked four and fanned three batters while Bailey took the loss and gave up seven runs.

After the Reds won the first game 15-0, the Cardinals won the final two.

St. Louis has been a house of horrors for Bailey. His career record in Busch Stadium is 0-4 with a 6.93 ERA.

The Reds are off tomorrow and will travel to Pittsburgh to battle the Pirates on Friday. After Friday’s game, the Reds will play 19 games without a day off.
