Disgraced Cardinal Keith O’Brien, former head of the Roman Catholic Church in Scotland, allegedly carried on a physical relationship with an unnamed priest, according to a report by the Scottish newspaper the Herald. This comes in addition to allegations that the cardinal made unwanted sexual passes towards at least four other priests.
The Herald claims that the unnamed priest is still working for the church somewhere in central Europe. The cardinal is reported to have pulled strings to secure this position for his alleged former lover. Their romantic get-togethers recently stopped after questions arose about the nature of their relationship.

The report by the Herald claims that at least two of the accusers came forward over their disgust with the allegedly homosexual O’Brien’s public anti-gay rhetoric.
O’Brien’s misconduct has been limited to other men of the cloth so far, but prosecutors fear that there might be more unidentified victims out there. One of the accusers claims the cardinal kissed him against his will when the man was just 19 years old.
