January has been one heck of a cold month here on the East Coast. We survived the polar, arctic vortex blast and right smack in the middle of this single digit weather, Caravan Stylist Studio New York and the Carlton Hotel welcomed Los Angeles fashion designer, Kara Lusardi of bobi, with open arms.
Single digit temperatures did not keep members of the media away from previewing the Resort 2014 as well as the Spring 14 bobi collections.
Caravan Studio has built-up quite a nifty reputation over the years. Looking back to their days in Noho, they were one of the first to introduce eco-friendly designs and over-the-top fashion shows at Met Pavilion.
Now, Caravan has moved into the luxe digs at the Carlton Hotel in the flatiron district recreating a speak-easy vibe nestled discreetly away on the second floor behind some flowy blue drapes adding to the clever mystery.
Designer, Kara Lusardi created simple, comfortable, light-weight pieces that easily can go from day to night with the right accessories and her big-name celebrity clientele sure doesn't hurt either.
With quality, vegan leather (truly mimicking the real the fabric) along with soft to the touch cotton pieces, New Yorkers and gals everywhere can get a headstart on Spring and Summer with the bobi line.
The brand is rapidly expanding overseas and growing globally everyday.

Maybe, just maybe the warm weather will get here just a little bit earlier this year!
