Coffee is the number one drink most people crave in the morning. Start out Valentine's Day serving your sweetheart a very special treat. Whether an individual drinks his coffee black or with the addition of cream and a sweetener, coffee is one of the most consumed beverages in the world. Step up that experience a notch or two and try this recipe for something a tad different. It is a triple shot of taste, sweetness and salt and is an indulgence to certainly try.
Recipe
- Strong brewed hot coffee or one to two shots of espresso
- 2 t caramel sauce
- 2 t chocolate cocoa
- Pinch of sea salt
- 1 C steamed milk
- Whipped cream
- Brew a pot of extra strong coffee or use a good espresso powder.
- Pour 3 ozs or one or two espresso shots into a mug
- Add caramel and chocolate cocoa
- Stir until completely mixed
- Add a pinch of sea salt
- Fill remainder of the cup with steamed milk
- Top with a dollop of whipped cream
- Drizzle caramel on top
