Cara Delevingne and Joan Smalls Rule the Etro Runway (Photos)

This Friday, February 22, 2013 in Milan, Italy, Etro attracted the fashion elite, critics and fans to their Fall/Winter 2013-14 Womenswear fashion show. British beauty, Cara Delevingne and Puerto Rican bombshell, Joan Smalls strutted down the Etro runway displaying the Italian fashion house's newest collection.

Etro, founded by Gimmo Etro in 1968 continues to be a current and relevant brand. Known for their exquisite textiles and paisley patterns Etro's collection did not disappoint, with "It" model Delevingne walking and supermodel Joan Smalls closing the show. Guests were given a futuristic presentation with a drop screen showcasing kaleidoscope patterns on the back of the runway.

The collection featured modern overcoats, jackets and cut-out gowns with an array of period-patterned prints. The color palette included gold, burnt orange and assorted berry colors. The collection could be described as 'contemporary boho ultra-chic' but how the clothes are interpreted is the thrill of the fashion house's production. There are many artistic pieces to choose from and layering is not out of the question.
