According to My Fox Boston, a rambunctious puppy named "Rosie," is being blamed for a car that was driven into a Canton, Mass., area pond on Sunday.
The 12-week-old German shepherd's owner, John Costello, described how things went awry after Rosie hopped into the running car:
The dog jumped in and hit the gear shift and the car jerked and she fell on top of the gas pedal,
"It was just scary.
Retrieving the pup proved to be no easy task - Rosie tried to elude those who attempted to rescue her from the car. Eventually, despite Rosie's evasive actions, she was pulled free and everyone made it to shore safely...except that is, for the car, which was a total loss.
