Have you always been curious as to how to make your own fresh mozzarella? Here is your opportunity.
This class from Caputo Brothers Creamery will show you how to use their authentic, cultured cagliata curd in your own kitchen for the freshest, most flavorful mozzarella (or fior di latte) you've ever tasted!
The class is being held Wednesday October 30 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. here in Baltimore, in Hampden at HeARTwares store of Art with a Heart. Rynn Caputo, owner of Caputo Brothers Creamery will show you the “art” of stretching cheese, utilizing the same techniques learned while working alongside master cheesemakers throughout Italy.
You will have the opportunity to observe her expert techniques and ask questions about the process and taste the cheese as it is made and paired with seasonal ingredients. And all class participants will receive one pound of frozen curd to take home to make their very own fresh mozzarella!
HeARTwares is located at 623 W. 34th Street, but also has an entrance at 3355 Keswick Road. Parking is available on the street, or in the courtyard.
