Captain & Tennille Divorcing After 39 Years Of Marriage

Captain & Tennille are best known for hits such as “Love Can Keep Us Together,” which was the number one Bill Board hit in 1975, “Do That To Me One More Time,” and “Muskrat Love.” They are also known for being married for thirty-nine years, which made their song, “Love Can Keep Us Together,” fitting for the couple, until now.

Reports are saying that now 73 year old, Toni Tennille met with a divorce attorney on Thursday, January 16, 2014. A statement on the couple’s website confirms that the couple seems to be divorcing.

TMZ is reporting that Daryl Dragon, 71 years of age, who is also known as the Captain in this duo is shocked that Toni has filed for divorce. The couple is currently still living in the same house. TMZ also stated that Daryl was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2011. The papers that that Toni filed had a specific mention about health insurance and TMZ hints that this may be related to the divorce, although, there is no facts about this information.

Toni and Daryl met sometime in the part of 1970. They married in 1974.
