Captain Lord Mansion offers special fall season packages

Bev Davis and Rick Litchfield have owned the Captain Lord Mansion in Kennebunkport Maine since 1977. They lovingly restored what was a down at its heels 19th century house turning it into an award winning inn. To celebrate their thirty four years of ownership Bev and Rick are offering guests some fantastic special packages to coincide with the fall season.

The Shoppers Survival Package

Shopaholics take note, this package comes with a shopping survival kit; note pad, pen, aspirin and Kleenex. Also tucked inside are discount coupons to several of Kennebunkport’s unique shops, and area factory outlets. After breakfast at the inn, hit the road for shopping!

When your feet start to ache head back to the inn where you can sit in your cozy room, put up your feet and enjoy a glass of complimentary wine in front of a blazing fire. Rates are $169 per night, Monday – Thursday, November 1st – December 22, 2011.

Free Thanksgiving Day Package

Here’s your chance to get away from cooking and spend the long Thanksgiving weekend at the Captain Lord Mansion on the coast of Maine. Guests can stay free Thanksgiving night when they combine it with Wednesday November 23rd through Saturday November 26th. You stay four nights but only pay for three.

Each morning dine on a gourmet breakfast and, on returning from shopping and sightseeing, afternoon libations will be awaiting you in the inn’s sumptuous library. This package starts at $699 per couple.

Late Fall Relax & Rejuvenate Spa Package

Can’t make it for Thanksgiving? No problem. This package fills the bill in getting you totally relaxed for the holidays. Spend three nights and the inn will provide one hour Swedish massages every day (at a time of your choosing), breakfast each morning and sparkling wine and chocolates in the afternoons. Rates are $322 per night per couple on weekends and $272 per night per couple mid-week starting Monday October 17th through November 30, 2011.
