It might not be a while for “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” to be released, but spoilers have begun to leak thanks to Latino Review. On Tuesday, October 1, the source revealed details on the relationship Black Widow and Steve Rogers will be having in the upcoming Marvel sequel.
According to the source, “Captain America 2” will be taking place two years after the events in “The Avengers.” Both Black Widow and Rogers are S.H.I.E.L.D. agents helping each other out in missions.
“By a series of unfortunate encounters, they will be in a situation in which their friendship becomes more intimate,” Scarlett Johansson said in an interview. “They share many similarities because they live on the defensive without relying on anyone. Also, the two have been working for the government throughout their professional careers. With their friendship they begin to question what they want and what their true identity is.”
Latino Review spoiled some juicy info from their sources who they claim have read the script. Their sources say that Widow and Rogers will be sharing a kiss, but that’s about it – they won’t be pursuing a relationship. I’m glad they won’t take things any further; I’m not a fan of this possible relationship. Plus, what about Hawkeye? That’s who Natasha needs to get with.
“Captain America: The Winter Soldier” hits theaters on April 4, 2014.
