The “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” Super Bowl ad has to be one of the biggest kept secrets for game day. On Thursday Variety magazine confirmed that the superhero will be highlighted, but the details of exactly when the fans will see the star haven’t been revealed.

Super Bowl commercials for movies are particularly difficult for fans to dissect immediately involved in the NFL game, but still wanting to see what small details are giving in the trailers, it sometimes takes hours before all the fans come together to weigh in on new movie trailers. With a movie trailer like “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” there is no doubt the viewers will want to check out the story frame by frame to decipher where the story is going next.

America is going to see plenty of movie trailers when it comes to Super Bowl Sunday. Already confirmed spots include “The Amazing Spider-Man 2,” “Transformers: Age of Extinction,” and “Muppets Most Wanted.” Kevin Costner’s film a football-themed drama called “Draft Day” is also expected to have movie trailers during the Super Bowl.

Super Bowl ads have become as important as the actual game. Add the element of a popular character like Captain America and it is impossible not to get too excited about the big game day. Of course, the excitement is for the ads and not necessarily the game.
