According to Cinema Blend on April 7, with the popularity of "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" comes with it a guerrilla marketing method to produce a trending internet meme. The sequel comic book movie synopsis basically consists of an enemy organization by the name of Hydra that dates back to the World War II era. This evil organization infiltrated itself into S.H.I.E.L.D. in a grass roots manner and patiently waited decades to strike.

That being said, there is a wave of photo shopped pictures going around on the web stating "Hail Hydra!" most of which with different well known characters from other films showing them whispering something into each others ears. Of course, audience members may recall Senator Stern, played by Gary Shandling whispering into Agent Jasper Sitwell's ear "Hail Hydra!" as he limps off with a trick knee.

It appears that the film has been garnering a word-of-mouth acceptance and this rather unorthodox way of spreading this aspect of the film around via an viral internet meme could cause yet another wave of movie goers who had not seen the film to go check it out.

"Captain America: The Winter Soldier" is now open in theaters everywhere.
