Capitol Hill wellness center to open

See also

The first wellness retreat on Capitol Hill is set to open this weekend.

Washington-based wellness entrepreneur Jaime Bohl is bringing to town her Lavender Retreat, a new concept for alternative health services, which will occupy a bulding at 1236 Pennsylvania Avenue, SE.

Established three years ago in Northern Virginia, Lavender Retreat takes the day spa experience to a new level with a wellness club membership. Offering massage therapy, skincare and esthetic services, and consultation on chiropractic healing, Bohl believes the wellness club will complement traditional medical practices.

Members will have access to discounts as well as classes and special events.

A reception for members and new neighbors will celebrate the opening Saturday, Dec. 7, at 5:30 pm
