The Capital City Fury were defeated at home by the North Bay Rattlers 31-0 Saturday afternoon at Titan Stadium located on the campus of Burbank High School. The Fury came out of the gates not looking very sharp. But they held the Rattlers off until the second quarter and that's when the deluge of points began. North Bay scored 28-0 points in less than fifteen minutes stunning the Fury on both sides of the ball.

The Fury came into the third quarter down 28-0 but continued to put up a good fight by moving the ball down the field. North Bay however squashed their progress by taking the ball away nullifying their drive. Capital City stopped the Rattlers on a key third down play but a silly penalty gave them a fresh set of downs setting up a field goal. North Bay held on to a 31-0 point lead in which they never relinquished thereby winning the game 31-0.

The loss evens the Fury's record at 3-3 whilst the Rattlers improved to to PCFL best 6-0 and holding a one game lead over the South Beach Outlaws (and the tie breaker by beating them 16-0 on April 12th). Capital City's next game is on May 3rd when they travel to San Francisco to play the Golden State Giants. The Fury's next home game will be on May 17th against the Solano Chiefs.
