Capital City Fury halt the California Rhinos 27-14

The Capital City Fury won their second game of the season Saturday afternoon on the road against the California Rhinos 27-14. Logan Hollis threw for two touchdowns and a 168 passing yards whilst the Fury's defense held the home team to just two touchdowns and recorded four sacks and two interceptions. Jayson Burris was the star of the defense with his sack, forced fumble, three tackles and scoring a touchdown on a blocked punt in the first quarter. Overall it was another team victory for the Fury who are on their way of having another fine season.

Offensive statistical leaders for the team are Logan Hollis at quarterback with 5 TDs, 316 yards and a QB rating of 137.5, Kyle Providence leads the team in recieving with 6 catches for 153 yards and 2 TDs and Keith Shankle is the lead running back with 7 carries for 22 yards. The Fury's next game will be at home against the South Beach Outlaws on March 29th at San Juan High School.. This will be the first of a two game homestand and tickets to the game are just $5 for adults and children under 12 are free.
