The Capital City Fury played their second straight road game last Saturday evening against the Richmond War Angels. Capital City was eagerly seeking another win whilst the War Angels were looking to win their third in a row. Only one team would leave the field a winner and that was the Fury who managed to hold off the War Angels 21-18. With the win, Capital City improves to 5-3 and moves into a four way tie for fourth place in the Pacific Coast Football League. The lose puts Richmond in the same position and record (5-3).
The Fury will return home after spending the last two weeks on the road. Their opponent for this Saturday afternoon will be the Solano Chiefs. Solano is heading into town fresh off a three point victory against the San Jose Eagles and they are also in fourth place as well. The Chiefs are second in the league in offensive yardage with an average of 328 yards per game. Kyle Allen of Solano leads the PCFL in passing yards with the Fury's Logan Hollis in second. The Chiefs however has a sieve for a defense and Capital City should easily exploit that weakness.
Kick-off is scheduled for 4:00 P.M. and the game will be held at Titan Stadium located on the campus of Luther Burbank High School.
